Thermia Mega - a truly commercial heat pump

Disintegrating sewage pipes came as an unexpected surprise to the board of the newly formed tenant-owned association Koppartältet. Thanks to the smart speedcontrolled MEGA heat pumps combined with an efficient system solution, costs have been significantly reduced.

The tenant-owned housing association installed four Thermia Mega XL ground source heat pumps to complement the existing facility.

During the first five months, district heating consumption fell by 80 percent. What’s more, it was possible to finance the sewage pipe renovation within the framework of the project.

Thermia Mega is a commercial ground source heat pump that is the pinnacle of innovation, not only for the highest energy savings, but for the best total cost of ownership for a high number of applications in the commercial sector.
